Refreshing Soda Pop

One glass of sparkling water, several ice cubes
and three drops of CandyS. Your kids, spouses and guests will think
they are drinking a soda, instead of a non fattening refreshing drink.
For a special touch add a fresh mint leaf!!

Banana Nut Bread

Blend one half teaspoon each of salt and baking soda with one teaspoon baking powder with one and ¾ cups of sifted all purpose flour. Blend one third cup of oil with two eggs, four ripe bananas and one sixth to one fifth of a bottle of CandyS. Mix the above two blends together into a nice even dough type paste. Then add some crushed walnuts, about a quarter cup into the mix. Pour into a well greased baking pan and bake at 350 degrees F for about 40-45 minutes.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Blend one cup shortening or oil with two eggs, half cup of buttermilk and one third to one half bottle of CandyS until light and fluffy. Mix one and ¾ cups of all sifted flour with one teaspoon of baking soda, one teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon of baking powder, one teaspoon of cinnamon, one teaspoon of nutmeg, three cups of quick cooking rolled oats, half a cup of raisins and a half cup of chopped walnuts. Mix the above two batches and then drop  two inches apart one tablespoon of the mix on greased cookie sheets at 400 degrees F for eight minutes. Remove and let cool slightly before transporting. This will yield approximately sixty cookies.

Bread Pudding

Mix two and a quarter cups milk with two eggs and pour over two cups one inch cubed one day old bread. Add one fifth of a bottle of CandyS, half a teaspoon of cinnamon, one teaspoon of vanilla, one quarter teaspoon of salt, half cup of raisins to the mix. Place this in a shallow pan and pour hot water around it to about an inch high. Bake for approximately 45 minutes at 350 F degrees.

Cranberry-Orange Muffins

Mix one cup of fresh cranberries with one fifth a bottle of CandyS and a teaspoon of grated orange peel. Blend one beaten egg with one sixth of a bottle of CandyS, half a cup of orange juice and two tablespoons of salad oil and mix in with two cups of packaged biscuit mix until moistened. Fold in the cranberry mix. Fill in greased muffin pans two thirds full and bake at 400 F degrees for about twenty five minutes. This yields about a dozen muffins.
